Moving the same server to a new host

Keeping its files: copy garrysmod/data/vetra/ across with everything else. The server keeps its identity, its licence and its data. Nothing to do.

Rebuilding a server from scratch

Or having lost garrysmod/data/vetra/. The old activation is still holding a slot, because from our side that server just went quiet, and we will not evict a server that might only be idle.

Open a support ticket

Say which server it is.

We issue a recovery code

A one-time code, valid 24 hours, tied to that specific server. It looks like this:
3

Run it on the rebuilt server

In the server console:
It reconnects the rebuilt machine to the same server record, so it does not use up another of your three slots.
A recovery code is a bearer value for its short life. Do not paste it in a public channel, do not send it to anyone but us, and do not keep it: it is single use and expires in a day.

Retiring a server for good

If the server is gone and you are not replacing it, say so in a ticket instead and we will release the slot outright. No charge, no waiting period.

Out of slots

Same thing: open a ticket and tell us which server you no longer use.

What we do not need from you

Never send a licence identifier, an activation code, an API token, a server password or RCON details, to us or to anyone else. The output of vetra_license_status is enough to diagnose any of this, and it deliberately prints none of those things.
